Privacy policy

The short version

ShroudCloud processes sensitive data so you don't have to. Our design goal is that we never hold the data in the first place. Zero retention is a technical property of the system, not a policy aspiration.

What we collect

• Account email, for waitlist and (later) account access.
• Usage counts and metadata: request timestamps, entity counts, processing duration. Never content.
• Cookies required for basic site function. We use privacy-respecting analytics only.

What we never collect

• Document contents, extracted text, or entity values.
• Any mapping between real values and placeholders.
• Anything for model training. Ever.

Data retention and deletion

Uploads are destroyed automatically at 24 hours via lifecycle rules. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete the account record; there is no content to delete because we never held it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the account data we hold, or its deletion, at any time by contacting us. Because we hold so little, both are fast.
